Arts Integration Collaboration

Integration activities bring high-quality arts learning, including arts pedagogies, to teachers of all content areas across the curriculum.  When facing what may seem like constraints from content standards and curriculum pacing, GSVA works with teachers to understand the nature of the their discipline and together co-design a dual discipline curriculum integrated to promote creativity and meaningful learning.  Through aesthetically based, experiential learning, students will construct understandings of the subject matter at hand through their own unique worlds.  Students learn to think critically, work in multidisciplinary collaborative teams, develop unique points of view, practice curatorial skills, and approach all aspects of the discipline or theme with a creative mindset.  GSVA consults with many education organizations including The Ohio State University, Project Aspire and Columbus City Schools.
