Fresh Paint: News from GSVA

    

During our 2012 Spring Break Camp, Miss Jenn, Miss Rachael, and seven new and returning GSVA students worked hard, and played even harder, to imagine and create worlds better than any Spring Vacation - the world of Surrealism.

In GSVA's first Spring Break Camp, students explored their own dream-like places through various mediums such as drawing, painting, sculpture, mixed media, and photography.  Whether lounging in an unreal living room, or flying through what the future might hold, these kids, ages 4 to 12, constructed their own individual dioramas.  We traveled through worlds of candy, Dr. Seuss, space garbage explosions, and good vs. evil dust bunnies to name a few, and what you see here is their final artworks - 9x15" photographs taken by each of the young artists of their worlds.  Enjoy!
