Fresh Paint: News from GSVA

    

On Saturday, June 16, 2012 Granville Studio of Visual Arts and Skipping Rock Farm kicked off the summer with a Grand Opening event celebrating our new partnership. Located on six acres of beautiful farmland in Granville, Ohio, Paul and Amy Hamilton's Skipping Rock Farm is now an active satellite campus of GSVA, and we thank all who came this weekend to check it out and help celebrate. There was artmaking, lawn games, goldfish, jazz, family photo-ops, door prizes, cool summer refreshments and a campfire with s'mores that all made for a wonderful evening shared with friends and family. Skipping Rock Farm is an inspirational place where GSVA and Skipping Rock will together host programs, workshops and events. It's an environment that encourages artists to relax, focus on creativity and get to know one another. All ages can benefit from the surrounding environment and educational approach to being creative and living in an artful way. We are excited about Paul and Amy's committment to GSVA and our dedication to creative education for our community.  Check out our current summer programs at Skipping Rock for teens and families and stay tuned for future offerings.
